TetraPond BioActive Pressure Filter
The remarkable Bio-Active Pressure Filter provides mechanical, biological and UV clarification — all in one rugged, efficient unit. Specifically designed for maximum ease of use and convenience. Features unique open-profile bio-activators for improved cleaning. Back flush valve reverses flow to flush out accumulated debris and sludge quickly and easily. Oversized latches allows for easy opening. These filters may be buried for concealment. Robust construction — built to last.

  • Water is pumped from the pond.
  • Water under pressure is forced into the bio-activators which trap dirt and debris.
  • Beneficial bacteria convert ammonia, which is harmful to fish, into nitrates, which are consumed by aquatic plants. This is known as the Nitrogen Cycle.
  • Filtered water is forced up the center tube.
  • Filtered water is returned to the pond

TetraPond ClearChoice Gravity Filter
Efficient Biofiltration biologically and mechanically cleans pond water

ClearChoice® Biofilter sponges remove suspended matter from the pond. A combination of Trickle-Flow Technology, aeration and massive surface area promote the growth of ammonia-consuming bacteria.

TetraPond® ClearChoice® Biofilters make it easy to maintain the health of your pond. Three models can handle small, medium and large ponds, up to 2,400 gallons. Connected in parallel, they can even clarify extra-large water gardens or Koi ponds.

TetraPond ClearChoice® Pressure Filter
Maintain a healthy and clear pond with TetraPond ClearChoice® Biofilters. Ornamental fish can overload a ponds ecosystem with ammonia and other pollutants.

ClearChoice® biofiltration removes these contaminants and ammonia using its advanced Trickle Flow and Bio Ring technologies. Trickle Flow filtration is up to 5 times more efficient than filtration in which the media is submerged, allowing the Tetra ClearChoice® filters to be smaller in size for a given pond size.
